Christianity is strongly associated with the most intense judgment imaginable—words and actions that condemn, destroy, or deeply wound. This generates a “winter” experience we are all capable of, one that kills the fruit on the vine. But is this the judgment Christ is truly bringing? Can we participate in a judgment experience with Him that leads to life? Can we remember and trust that all He does is for us not against us?
