Description

Perhaps you've been told as a Christian that you need to measure your works to make sure your faith is not dead. In this episode, we talk about what James was really teaching in James 2:17.

James was writing to unbelievers who did not make a decision for Jesus. He began by asking an interesting question. He asked them "can that faith save them". He goes on to draw a connection between works and faith. You're about to discover that the lesson James was giving the recipients of this letter was that the only kind of faith that saves us is faith that comes with a decision for Jesus. The decision for Jesus is the work he was describing. This was never about human effort/outward words to bring our faith alive. It was about believing.

Enjoy!
