How do you deal with unexpected events?
Unexpected events (that we perceive as negative or bad) happen. As humans, it’s important to recognize how little control you truly have.
Business comes with risk. If you don't want risk, stay home.
Allow the feelings! Be mad if you need, then move on.
Pause. Now that you're through the initial stress, how will you proceed?
Ask yourself; do I even have control or influence over this?
This is NOT the time to be concerned about others outside of your business.
Have a plan but be ready to pivot. Be prepared.
*Some problems will require money. Maybe you miscalculated or just missed something altogether, having some accessible money would help.

Do actual research. Don't just watch the socials and think you are researching an industry.
Listen more. Don't wait to talk...listen, process, then speak.
Identify the real issue. Go as deep as you can. What can you address that will
Move forward with your solution, don't dwell. When you have your plan it's go time!
Keep in mind that you may need to do nothing.
Evaluate along the way. If you can prevent a problem from occurring again do so. Writing can help with this step.
What to do after the fact.
Learn the lesson.
Stay positive.
Get some help. Ask others what they would've done. If you're working with an internal team be sure to communicate clearly.
Revisit your goals. In a few days, weeks, months, or years will this have had an impact? It's likely not.
