Today we're talking about starting in the hair industry.  This will apply to business owners, but we're focusing on those hair-pro babies!

We decided to keep this one light and stay toward the surface of these topics.  Ya know, just because. 

What sort of things do we see?

• Expecting too much too soon
• Expecting to do nothing but reap a reward
• The grass is greener syndrome
• Skipping the little things

Advice from others.  We pulled these replies from a recent social media post.

• Recognize there are other options than working behind the chair
• Be patient
• Find a salon shop you want to grow with
• Build relationships with clients (and everyone). That’s when the magic happens 
• Find a mentor
• Focus on what you have, not what you don’t
• Don’t get discouraged. Too many give up too soon out of school when things get tough.
