Sean Dembrosky is the creator of Edible Acres, a Permaculture nursery and forest farming research space just north of Ithaca, NY. He and his wife, Sasha are engaged in the enterprise of "regenerative agriculture" and represent the kind of pioneering spirit that shows the way to a different, more sustainable way of living on and in the landscape.
Sean frames his brand of disobedience in way that isn't so much in opposition to the conventional, industrial "Big Ag" model as it is an alternative. It's just a matter of breaking the spell of conditioning that so many of us are under to step away from the precariously fragile, tech-heavy industrial model to one that is more resilient, healthy and fulfilling.
