Ordained minister Dennis Hall and his guest Justin Bohner, Assistant Pastor of First Baptist Church, Highlands, North Carolina discuss what we mean when we call someone or something evil and where evil comes from. The role that evil plays in Christianity and its necessity for the Christian faith is explored. They establish that the worst kind of suffering is emotional pain and the stress caused by emotional pain is the root of most physical illnesses. They point out that suffering is at the very center of the Christian gospel. Jesus promised that his followers would be persecuted and suffer. Followers of Jesus should expect to suffer but can expect an eternity free from evil, pain, and suffering.
