Dennis Hall and his guest, Justin Bohner, Assistant Pastor, First Baptist Highlands look at the scope of Christianity in the U.S. and Jesus' expectation that the ties of Christians to one another should be stronger than ties to blood relatives. They discuss how apostasy, the falling away from the truth of God, can infiltrate churches. The origin of so many denominations and doctrinal differences are reviewed. They point out that much of the contemporary dissension in churches is the result of morality issues. The things you cannot deny and be a Christian are outlined, and pointed out that these things are heresy and sometimes are denied in churches and seminaries. Listeners are encouraged to read the Bible and use it as the yardstick to evaluate churches and individual Christians.
