They review the story of the Resurrection as told in Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John, noting how soon after the Resurrection this history was recorded. The evidence that Jesus was killed by his crucifixion is reviewed. The significance of the angel at the tomb meeting with women and not the disciples is reviewed. The disciples were dejected, disillusioned, and afraid and Jesus appearing to them after the Resurrection transformed them into evangelists that were willing to give their lives for Jesus, their Lord and Saviour. The Damascus Road experience of the Apostle Paul is similar to what happens to skeptics today and many have to be convinced just as James, the brother of Jesus. "If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God is raised from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9)
