Ordained minister, Dennis Hall and his guest, Pastor Geroge Whirley, New Creation Restoration Church and Prison ministry, Indianapolis, Indiana discussed the Holy Spirit and the role that the Holy Spirit plays in the lives of the followers of Jesus. When a person believes in Christ, the Holy Spirit immediately becomes a permanent part of their life. “Those who are led by the spirit of God are the children” (Romans 8:14). How one knows the difference between their own thoughts and the spirit’s leading is explored. The parameters of spiritual warfare, wickedness, and corruption are outlined. On the spiritual battlefield, we need to know our enemy. We need to understand the battlefronts. Accepting ourselves for what we are is critical in this battle. Our weaknesses need to be identified and the biggest ally on the spiritual battlefield is the Holy Spirit. These two pastors provide some concrete ideas about walking in the spirit each day. The podcast concludes by acknowledging that Christians who walk in the fullness of the spirit still have problems. But when we are walking in the spirit our problems can be faced with a calm and confident attitude because of God’s divine resources which are available to his followers.
