Ordained minister Dennis Hall and his guest Justin Bohner, Assistant Pastor, First Baptist Church Highland, North Carolina begin by discussing the Bible's confirmation that each of us has a soul this is separate from the mind and body. The mistaken idea that the soul rests after death in an unconscious state or even ceases to exist, until the final resurrection is part of this analysis using Scripture to assure believers that soul sleep is not supported by the Bible. Some ask if we will be able to recognize our loved ones in heaven? These ministers point to Scriptures that tell us that those in heaven can be recognized. They address the after-death concept of purgatory that some think believers must go for purification before entry into heaven. It is pointed out that there is nowhere in the Bible that purgatory is presented or discussed and is one of Satan's lies. They conclude by telling the listeners that our souls live forever in one of two places, either with your creator or eternally separated from Him. God welcomes all and sent his son Jesus Christ to provide a way for our eternal salvation.
