Description

In the first ever episode of Documenta & Son, Documenta Barbrism and Dingle Mary explore the work of painter Frank Moore, whose playful absurdism belied deep anger at the destruction of the planet by humans and of his body and community by AIDS. Moore left behind a collection of work at once tender and terrifying, zany and heartbreaking, taking in everything from medieval torture devices to Lady Bunny's pink d*ck.
