Baskerville is not only an author but a kick-ass social worker and activist best known for founding transgender advocacy group transGENESIS.

In 2000, Baskerville was inducted into the Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame. In 2002, Baskerville was appointed to the Executive Committee of the National Coalition for LGBT Health. This living legend is sure to inspire any reader.
