On todays Episode we have Marina Cortese stop by to give us a detailed packed episode. Marina is a Dr of Integrative, and specializes in all thing Eastern Medicine. She has had quite the journey prior to her preventative cancer treatment.
Marina found at a young age she had the mutated gene that pre disposes individuals to breast cancer. Without checking, you wouldn't know so, part of the story is for everyone to get checked and make sure you know where you stand. After years of dealing with multiple biopsy appointments she knew that had to be other treatments available. She was faced with the tough decision of a double mastectomy.
She is the definition of a warrior, and we're hoping this can not only help women and men who may be directly or indirectly affected by this but, that it's eye opening to what happens prior / during / after the actual procedure.
