"I desire to cultivate a life of healing. My purpose and mission is to decolonize the arts through community healing and building. In my work, my subjects are usually focused on unearthly and powerful feminine energies. I have felt this connection since my childhood. I had experiences with otherworldly ties and brujeria however with colonial systems of oppression-- I became disconnected from traditions. As I’ve gotten older, I have yearned to reconnect with ancestral roots by decolonizing my practices. I continue to center my work around celebrating spirituality, mysticism, and healing. Finally, My life’s work is committed to creating opportunities for historically underrepresented groups, especially BIWOC. Brewja Co. is an extension of me. I consider it a safe place-- for those who ni de aquí, ni de allá."
