A seed falls. It dies. It is buried…beneath the ground. It spends time in darkness.
In our lives today, this process may seem familiar.
When we look around, there is darkness. There is death….loss of life, loss of freedoms, loss of dreams, loss of morality and character. Death abounds. Darkness invades. It can feel like we are buried.
But, this is where miracles happen.
They begin unseen. We are completely unaware of the work God is doing.
Then, we see the evidence as the new life emerges. This new life grows heavenward aiming for the light.
Let's not forget that Jesus was buried too. Friday and Saturday were dark, but light burst forth unexpectedly on Sunday.
God is still in the business of generating life and resurrection. We may be buried, but Sunday is coming soon!
