Description

Have you ever gone rappelling? It's like the opposite of rock wall climbing. You start at the top of a cliff face and after properly harnessing up and with help, you travel down the side of a rock wall on a rope.

The coach at the top that ensures your safety is crucial, as is the person on belay at the bottom. The belay man holds your life in his hands. His job is to be alert and holding the rope. If there comes a moment when you move too quickly toward the ground, he simply pulls the rope taut, and you stop.

Our life journeys are not linear paths but multidimensional. God will at time bring us to such a precipice. He will also provide the necessary equipment to make a descent, the coach (aka the Holy Spirit), and Jesus on belay.

Listen in as we traverse through the struggles of rappelling...and life...with the help of our Lord and Savior.

Bible verses referred to in this episode:
Isaiah 41:10
