Description

You may be expecting to see the name of Balaam in this description and we'll get there, but first let's head to the pool for a moment.

You are likely familiar with signs or painted words that direct us to walk safely and not run around a pool. The purpose is to protects us from pain and injury.

If a lifeguard sees someone running, it's his job to intervene. He may speak a warning with the volume determined by distance and the noise level. If necessary, he may blow his whistle.

The whistle demands our attention, disrupts our flow, and alerts us to danger.

God can work in a similar fashion.

Enter Balaam. And his donkey.

Join us as we delve into what God could be using to get our attentions. You may just discover you have your own talking donkey.

*Special Note: I purposely omitted part of Numbers 22:19 in case anyone is listening with little ears around. Please read Numbers 22 for the full story.

Bible verses referred to in this episode:
Numbers 22
(with focus on verses 21-32)
Hebrews 4:16
