Description

After acting as a fill-in singer for various Erie bands like The Calientes and the Arkay IV, Jon Ims eventually joined CJ Bri. He later would leave Erie and go onto a successful songwriting career in Nashville for artists such as Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, and the Dixie Chicks. He talks about those early formative years in Erie; going on the road for 10 years opening for the likes of ZZ Top, Richie Havens, and Randy newman (among many others); and eventually teaching songwriting in Nashville.
