In this episode I interview Fletcher Cleaves who has been one of my most inspiring to date guest I have had on the show! His story of resilience, triumph and joy will bring you to tears. At only 18 years old, Fletcher was involved in a tragic car accident caused by a distracted driver that left him as a quadriplegic. During the time of the accident, he was a 1st year college football player on scholarship and lost it all. His life was changed in a minute, by one distracted driver.
He didn't let this tragic event stop him from living his best life. He knew he had a calling to share his testimony and persevere! After a year of intense rehabilitation he enrolled back into college and earned his degree in Computer Science. He most recently, has been moving into the path of being a motivational speaker and has spoken on some pretty epic stages like: EPSN, College Game Day, TEDX, Ohio State University, Ole Miss Football Team, and has been a spokesperson for AT&T distracted driving campaign.
Fletcher has not let adversity hold him back from living a life of joy. He has become independent in living on his own, driving on his own and traveling around the world living life. He has gone sky diving, swam with sharks, dunked in cenotes and embraced his nickname "The Traveling Nomad". His ability to see beyond his circumstances, will inspire you and encourage you to live your best life despite the cards you've been dealt.
