I know your first response after reading this Podcast Title- "Why would you want to debunk Work, Life Balance?". I want to debunk this saying, because balancing it all, is not physically possible! The definition of balance is: an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady. On any given day, we physically cannot give an even distribution of ourselves to our work, family, friends and deal with all the responsibilities life throws our way. We must throw the search for balance out the door, and aim to be centered and learn how to focus on 3 specific areas each day in any given 24 hour period. Every area in our life can not have an even distribution of weight, as each day and every priority carries its own weight.
In this episode, I explain why this phrase and mindset need to be debunked and a new mindset of being centered needs to be adapted.
