This episode is a fun little pep talk with a few fun stories of when I literally got crapped on! Yes, you read that right...I got pooped on, not just once but twice! I share two fun stories of how I dealt with being crapped on and the lessons learned from it.
Ever had one of those days when every tiny thing seems to go wrong? When Zeek and Zoey my beagle fur babies decided to indulge in doggy delicacies found on the ground during our regular walks, my day went from peaceful to chaotic in seconds. But amidst that frustration, I found a chance to learn grace under pressure. My dogs' misadventures served as a reminder that while we can't always control the situation, we can control our response. So, I chose to stay composed and not let the situation get the best of me.
I also rewind to another lesson when I was a first time mom, to the time when an explosive diaper incident at the mall turned into a messy, yet amusing ordeal. Despite being covered in poop, I chose to carry on, embrace the less-than-ideal situation, and enjoy the rest of the day. That's right - life isn't always perfect, but it sure is full of moments that can bring us joy if we let it. So, join me on this rollercoaster of emotions and experiences, and let's learn to chase joy together, one podcast episode at a time. Because as I've learned from my lessons of literally getting crapped on, the best way to spread joy and laugh about life's mishaps is to share it.
