Women in jazz! We're going to look at some history in relation to the role that women had in this art form. We talk about special women that gained respect through the extraordinary talent when interpreting this style. Some of these great women are Sarah Vaughan, Mary Lou Williams, Lil Hardin Armstrong and Valaida Snow amongst others. We also discuss the work of current female jazz musicians and listen to the beautiful voice of Malta's own Doreen Galea.
