Merry Christmas everyone!
PLEASE READ!!!
If you are a new listener (Or a day 1 supporter... love youuuu!) and you could spare a minute to leave me a review I truly would be so grateful. I read every single one and they all help massively to grow the pod. It only takes a minute and it would be the perfect Christmas gift for me.
Thank you so much for joining me again and a massive welcome to the gang to all my new listeners. It's great to have you here. Thank you to the lovely Fran for the shout out, if you enjoy my pod I know you will enjoy hers to (Law of Attraction Changed My Life)
Apologies for the hiatus, I have been a bit unwell but I am much better and glad to be back...please excuse the voice this week, I am a snot rag.
I hope you enjoy this week's episode which is about noticing where you may be detrimentally deluding yourself and turning that into a delusion that benefits you instead.
A little challenge for you this week ...
- Find a scenario in one area in your life that you are negatively deluding yourself. That could be body image/career/relationships/family/friendships/health etc.
Example - Applying for a new job that is a few rungs on the ladder above your current role.
- Write down in your journal all the detrimental delusions you have created around that scenario.
Example - 'If I go for that job, all my friends in the office will be mad at me.'
- Attempt to find hard evidence to support that delusion (SPOILER ALERT - This will be minimal!)
- Begin collecting hard evidence to disprove this detrimental delusion and use the evidence to support a beneficial delusion.
Example - 'When I told Barbara in accounts that I was thinking I might go for the role, she said she thinks it's a great idea because I am brilliant with people, I have all the computer skills from the last job I did and I can relate to the staff I would be managing because I have done their role so I will be able to support them and make helpful changes. She also said that her and the rest of the team would be thrilled to have me as a manager.'
- Reread this evidence to rewire subconscious into believing the new, beneficial delusion.
Example - 'This role was made for me, I am going to be fantastic in this role. There is no one better suited to this job that me. I can have a really postive impact on everyone I work with in this new role. I am excited for my interview when I can share everything I can bring to the role.'
Have a FANTASTIC Christmas, sending so much love to every single one of you.
Love Soph xxx
