On The Run: A coup has broken out in Israel. David’s son, Absalom, is seeking to overthrow his father and take over the nation. David flees from Jerusalem and heads east, while Absalom and his advisors take over the palace. It’s a difficult season for David as he encounters enemies but has friends from unexpected places who come to aid. Lots of New Testament whispers in this story.
