Description

This week on Love Letters, Life, and Other Conversations Podcast Jane and Wendy share and talk about a Birthday love letter to Wendy’s dear friend Jeff.

While an incredible cook, Wendy’s dear friend Jeff had proclaimed he was not able to make cookies.  This led to Wendy making cookies for him each year on his birthday.  This particular Birthday love letter came the year that Jeff retired and moved to France - too far to send his birthday cookies. Wendy’s solution to the distance between them was to send the dry ingredients to France for Jeff to bake his favorite cookies himself. Enclosed in the package was a handwritten recipe from her as a love letter,  plus a little bonus love letter from her daughter Amelia; Jeff’s god-daughter.

What is a love letter?

It is a letter, a text, a poem, a direct message, a drawing, a voice message, a watercolor, a recipe, a cup of tea, a smile, a home-baked meal delivered.  It's anything that connects us and makes us feel all those messy emotions, that without life would be pretty beige.
