What is the difference between mindfulness and spiritual transformation? Should Christians engage with and use mindfulness principles to become more aware of ourselves? Further, how can we be formed in Christ by not thinking of our human condition too highly but, at the same time, focus on our own spirit in order to cooperate with God in transformation and formation in Christlikeness? Sean and Tyler critically discuss these ideas and think theologically about them in this episode to show how it is possible to view formation with two lenses simultaneously: God’s presence transforms and we are transformed as we seek God’s presence.
