Gail Zahtz chose life. She chose to live a beautiful life with Hashem at the centre. She endured untold challenges having brought her four children out of domestic violence to then face five years in a wheelchair, eventually becoming legally blind and living in a nursing home basement with late stage cancer.
Gail is anything but bitter, and having been on the patient journey herself, has become a tremendous force in the American healthcare system. She founded and directed dozens of health related companies and initiatives and has won numerous awards. She is currently the CEO of WiseCare Health, an integrated healthcare collaborative supporting healthcare organizations in the transformation from fee-for-service to value based care.
