Jesus fulfills Scripture in His crucifixion. Today unfolds more of God’s divine plan. His betrayer Judas, returns the blood money that buys the Potter field, Jesus is sent to Pilate & Herod who neither find guilt in Him, His garments are gambled for as prophesied, Jesus is scourged, beaten, and mocked by the Roman soldiers before heading to Golgotha to pay the ultimate price for our sin. He is crucified on a Roman cross and does it all willingly, and lays down His life for His sheep. He lays down His life as He proclaimed He would written in John 10, and He will raise it up again.
