The crinkling of the paper, the sipping of the soda...podcast etiquette is pushed aside as we discuss why we do things we know are bad for us. With a focus on poor food choices, we take a mild detour into the world of factory farming, domestication of animals and question weather ADHD and other disorders are a product of it. While steering clear of the hot topic "dopamine", a new idea about defining what we think is average for ourselves as individuals is presented. Is making better choices really as simple as achieving above average standards that the independent person sets?
I Will Prevail Podcast follows the life of Chef Jason Prince, who quickly rose to fame in the education world...at least amongst his students. A rare kidney disease and blood cancer has temporarily removed him from the classroom, where his story based teaching led to the "Most Relatable Teacher" award, 6 years running. With a lot of spare time, and a need to stay connected with his students, he is bringing his storytelling, unorthodox opinion, and complete randomness to the masses.
