How many ways can one die outside? Turns out, quite a few, even within the confines of federally managed land. This week we're heading to our nation's beloved Yellowstone National Park, where bears, bison and boiling hot springs have got nothing on the dumb people who visit them. Tourists have found dumb ways to die since the park's origins, from backing off the edge of Yellowstone's Grand Canyon, to jumping through thin ground directly into burning hot springs. There are endless ways to meet your maker inside the park's 2.2 million acres. Tune in to Elise's third installment of her National Park series (that apparently spans two years) and uncover the terrifying dangers that await your every turn while venturing in the great outdoors. You may even enjoy a ghost story or two in this classic summer tale of what not to do outside. Happy haunting!
