On November 16, 2013 two hunters looking for deer in a remote part of Latimer County in Oklahoma stumbled upon a cluster of bones in the woods. They realized that these bones belonged to a human when they discovered a skull and two other sets of skeletonized remains in the same clearing. The hunters contacted local law enforcement and led them to the remains. Although they already had their suspicions, it wouldn’t be until July 3, 2014 that the medical examiners office officially announced that they had found the remains of the Jamison family, Bobby, Sherrilyn and their daughter Madyson who had last been seen on October 8, 2009.
