When we think about Finland we might think of snow covered forests, the magic of the northern lights and seriously cozy winters. If you are like me you might not think of camping as much when you think of Finland (I am what I like to refer to as a fair weather camper), but for people who are a bit more tolerant of the cold, Finland is a camper's paradise. Finland has almost 200,000 lakes, beautiful views of the Baltic Sea and over 75% of Finland is covered in forests. We also don’t tend to think of violent crimes or brutally violent murders when we think of Finland. However, in 1960 Lake Bodom in the Finnish city of Espoo was the site of one of the most infamous unsolved crimes in Europe.
