Description

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is often referred to as the Smokies due to low hanging clouds and fog that cling to the mountainsides in the mornings and give the illusion of a beautiful, but smoky horizon. The park spans an area that straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee, and features an amazing diversity of landscapes, animals and plant life. Great Smoky Mountains is one of the most visited national parks in the United States, with an average of 14.1 million people visiting the park every year.

With so many visitors and such wild and expansive terrain, the disappearances we’ll be discussing in this episode just scratch the surface of strange and unexplained disappearances that have occurred throughout the decades in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
