Description

Rather than exploring another spooky town or demonic possession, in this episode we explore the world of urban legends. Specifically, urban legends from Japan. Urban legends tell us a lot about society. They might serve as a cautionary tale, or be a reflection of common fears. And in this episode we take a closer look at some of those fears. In this episode we covered the following legends:
  1. Sukima-onna, the girl in the gap
  2. Kuchisake-onna, the slit-mouthed woman
  3. Darumasan Ga Koronda, the gameĀ
  4. Toire no Hanako-san
  5. Aka Manto, Red Cloak
  6. Tenome
  7. The Snake Women and Ushi Oni
  8. The Red Room Curse
  9. Gashadokuro
  10. Tek Tek
