She is #DopePeople and she is the first person ever interviewed on Dope People Podcast.
As a South Side Chicago native, born and raised in the Englewood community, Beulah Mcloyd provides nearly two decades of educational experience, offering leadership skills and instruction to the youth. As a principal for nearly 10 years, Beulah continues to reach new heights in transforming schools and reinventing herself to take on new and exciting challenges.
Prior to her education experience, Beulah got an early start in witnessing the Chicago Public School system, as she saw her mom as an instructor for CPS. And, although she wasn’t a product of CPS, her life's work has been about leveling the playing field, so that no matter what a child's zip code or economic status might be, he/she would have access to high-quality education.
As a dedicated, self-proclaimed advocate of high-quality education, Beulah is fully committed to ensuring the schools she touches and transforms are world-class success the urban community deserves.
