Description

This is an excerpt from a longer interview with cartoonist and historian Bentley Boyd, creator of Chester Comix. In his comic book series, he tells stories from U.S. history with the help of his narrator, a Chesapeake Bay blue crab named Chester.

In this segment, Bentley talks about how the world has changed since he first began drawing Chester for the newspaper where he worked. That was 1999, long before he started doing books. Today, his work is more important than ever.

You can order Bentley’s books from his website, chestercomix.com , on Amazon, or digital versions on his app, available for iPhone and iPad.

Please share this brief episode with fellow history buffs and anyone who wants to learn U.S. history in a fun and painless way.
