My Name is Tim, I was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland . For the past 27 years I have suffered with mental illness, drug addiction and alcoholism.
My Sobriety date is March 5th 2021 . Before using drugs and alcohol I was an athlete in multiple sports. I started using drugs and alcohol my Senior year of high school and all my sports stopped and my life changed for the next 27 years.
My addiction took me to a place of trying to take my own life on 2 occasions. I lost all hope and gave up on myself. My turning point was when my wife found me in our basement standing on a bucket with a rope around my neck getting ready to end it all.
