This week we’re dissecting yet another controversial headline involving Teachers and what some people view as yet another Public School System crossing the line. As the culture wars continue in and around this great nation of ours it’s safe to say our Public Education System has become a hot bed of dissent and our teachers continue to find themselves under constant and ever increasing scrutiny and pressure, but where should we draw the line between teaching and parenting? Should schools be a safe space? To what extent? Are you ok with your kids confiding in their teachers? Do you expect teachers to relay things said in confidence to you or can they use their discretion? When it comes to kids emotions are always heightened and while people will most definitely disagree on the appropriate way to move forward these are very real questions and it’s important that we continue to have these important conversations so get ready ‘cuz it’s time to ManTFUp!
