Shine Into Winter meditation #2 is a guided, body scan meditation designed to deepen the relationship with your body, her physiology and her winter needs.
Bringing your attention to the physical sensations and experiences in your body, reconnecting you to your physical self, your physical manifestation. Connecting you to the infinite needs of your body, her genius and her life sustaining vital force.
Body scan meditations intentionally raise your cellular connection and vibration as the practice literally and intuitively scans one’s awareness through the body on a micro level. Attention is intended to be given to every inch of your body.
The purpose of this practice is to cultivate the ability to notice what is being experienced in the body in the presence of Winter.
This includes all of the systems of the body, her bones, skin, internal organs, digestion, cellular activity, etc. By connecting and bringing one’s awareness to receiving this information, you can begin to learn how to better respond to physical and emotional cues and their interrelated cognition. You may notice a range of emotions during your practice, this is OK and expected. The important part of this practice is to stay connected and aware of your experiences without judgement.
You will journey into a place of knowing and empowerment that effectively enables you to naturally pursue nutritional behaviours that serve to holistically nourish your body so that YOU CAN THRIVE in the present, to survive in the future. Because you learn to respond to your body’s needs.
