LABOR PAINS. In this week's episode I talk about what I would say to 17-year-old Portia. While my mother was looking through old stuff she found a pay stub from December 18, 1996. I tried hard to remember the emotions from that day, even that time period, and I couldn't. We have tough moments and seasons but they don't last forever and sometimes we even forget what the pain felt like.
