"Exodus" means to come out of. The book of Exodus is the continuation of the story of Israel as how they are treated in Egypt and how the Lord leads them out of slavery toward a land flowing with milk and honey. But is Exodus useful for us today?
The account in Exodus gives us a great set of teachings that we can apply today. The New Testament tells us that the things that God did with Israel in the Old Testament are examples for us to guide our lives today. What are those examples? Is there a theological significance of Exodus?
This session gives an overview of the teachings of Exodus, explains the historical background, authorship, and how the tabernacle applies to our salvation in Jesus.
