My mother would want me to share with you that we DID visit all 13 colonies one year. It was a driving adventure in our station wagon with a luggage carrier crafted by my dad. There were stays at many a Howard Johnson's and, as kids, we loved their swimming pools and restaurants (yes to silver dollar pancakes). You'll also learn why our adventures never quite led us to Plymouth Rock or Disneyland. So snuggle up and let the warmth of these memories lull you into a blissful slumber. 💤
