Mixing it up with Vernors and Bourbon. How well do they mix? Jamie, August, and Matt put it to the test and mix up a special Man Cave Cocktail just for the occasion.
The cocktail:
Man Cave Happy Hour Double Barrel Motor City Cocktail
2oz. Bourbon (Wild Turkey 101)
4oz. Vernors
5 dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish with 3 Luxardo Cherries (be sure to get plenty of Luxardo juice to spill into the cocktail as you grab the cherries)
In a rocks glass combine Bourbon, Vernors, and bitters . Stir well. Add one large cocktail ice cube. Add cherries on a toothpick and stir again. Enjoy.
Make it a Mule by adding a 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lime preparing the drink in a pint glass (or mule mug). Replace the cherries with a lime wedge and fill the remainder of the glass with Veronors. This is the "Man Cave Motor City Mule"
