Some people just don't care for any holidays. Some people have not had good experiences surrounding one (or maybe more) or around/one have gone through a traumatic experience. Some people like the holidays but for one reason or another feel lonely during whatever their holiday season is.
No matter why you don't like or struggle with any holiday - if you do, this episode might help you.
As someone who has unfortunately lost a lot of family on my mother's side (and has lost an uncle during the Christmas season), I don't love any holiday celebrated here in Canada like I used to. When I was young holidays meant a big family get together on my mom's side of the family. Now that I'm 31 and have lost a lot of family on that side, holidays don't mean half as much to me to be perfectly honest.
I know that is for personal reasons, so I'm not someone who goes around during any holiday being a negative Nancy or Grinch. In this episode, I share some ways to cope around a holiday if any one is hard for you and ways to try and stay positive to not ruin the holidays for people who do enjoy them!
