In our first episode I talk to Shalina Litt. We discuss the impact of domestic abuse, the different types and also her own personal experience. Shalina also shares with us how important it is to shine your light after domestic abuse and find a way forward.


About Shalina:
Shalina Litt is a Creative Educator with over 20 years of experience of working in School Based Environments teaching and training alongside public speaking on different Media Platforms.   Shalina graduated in 2006 with a BA Hons Early Childhood Studies from City Birmingham University and went onto teach in the middle east for the last 6 years.

Asma is the Founder of the charity Soul Sisters Empowering People, set up to empower people and their children who have been affected by domestic abuse to live independent lives free from fear and abuse.

Established to create a positively supportive pathway and group for healing and thriving, via providing advocacy / sign posting of key information / support and mentorship / 121 and group sessions / development via The Way Forward programme.
