Raquel always knew she wanted to build her family through adoption. She grew up with several adopted family members so she knew her and her family would love any child that came in to their home. She’s fostered 13 children over a 4 year period and has adopted 4 of those children which includes a sibling set of 3. Now she continues to advocate for foster and adoptive families through mentorship, speaking on panels and facilitating support groups.
