About the episodeOn this week’s episode, Eve sets Rose the digital detox challenge! We all know that digital devices are a fundamental part of modern life. However, just as our usage of technology has increased, so has our dependency. There’s growing research to suggest our devices interfere with our self esteem, our sleep, and our stress levels. Can putting boundaries between ourselves and our phones help us feel calmer and more connected? Does limited screen time give us noticeable improvements in our concentration and sleep, or are the differences negligible? Let’s find out. The challenge: For one week, Rose must switch off all digital devices between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Email and messages are permitted during working hours (9-5) but not meal times. All engagement with social media platforms are forbidden and, for one full day, all devices must be switched off. About the hostsEve Kalinik is a nutritional therapist and author. We need to put boundaries around them. By doing that, we'll have a more present, mindful existence." - Eve"When I wakeup in the morning, my phone jolts me into reality. But without it I've been much more likely to have a stretch or do my meditation. I've had much more relaxed mornings." - RoseResources Visit Eve’s website https://evekalinik.com/ (here)Visit Rosemary’s website https://www.rosemaryferguson.co.uk/ (here)If you want to learn more about Symprove, head to their https://www.symprove.com/ (website) and useThe code WELLNESSBREAKDOWN15 for 15% off your first order!Visit our website http://thewellnessbreakdown.com (here)This podcast is produced by One FinePlay.
