Title: The meaning of Palm Sunday
Bible: Matthew 21:1-9
(1) As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus saw two
sending disciples
(2) He said to them, "Go to the village opposite you, and immediately the donkey and colt tied there will be with you.
Untie it and bring it to me.
(3) If anyone says anything, let the Lord use it, and he will send it immediately.
(4) This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet.
(5) Say to the daughter of Zion, "Your king is coming to you; he is humble,
He rode on the offspring of a beast.
(6) The disciples went and did as Jesus commanded.
(7) They brought the donkey and the colt and put their cloaks on them, and Jesus
ride on top
(8) Most of the group spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches and went on the road.

(9) The crowds that went in front and followed lifted up their voices, saying, Hosanna, Son of David!
Blessed be the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest.
