Born and raised in Italy, Emiliano moved to Vancouver Island in 2015. Always fascinated by fish, he managed to make them his job by becoming a fish veterinarian. As such, he’s currently working as Fish Health Researcher for the Pacific Salmon Foundation and studying diseases in wild and farmed salmon in BC. Emiliano started fishing when he was 6years old, and have been exclusively fly fishing for the last 15 years. When not in the lab, he tries to spend as much time as possible outdoors speycasting for anadromous fish, particular steelhead, or chasing saltwater species around the world, either inshore or bluewater.
