On this episode we head to Oregon to chat with Joseph Logan, we chat about getting into fly fishing and the learning curve of getting into guiding.
“My name is Joseph Logan, and I’m 23 years old. I was raised in Bend Oregon. I lived with my mother along with my brother and sister. I grew up really poor and started working at the age of 14. My work background is in construction but in 2020 I took a fishing trip with my uncle and a guide on the Native side of the deschutes river. After that trip I was hooked and fell in love with fly fishing. I received my first hammy down hareline vice from my uncle and went from there. The following year I guided along side Matt Mendes a Native in Warm Springs Oregon. Looking forward for Season 2 to begin! In my free time I do photography, go on hikes and of course fishing!”
